Proposal

Section 1: Review (approx. 150 words)
Over the past six units of the programme, I have received a lot of new information for myself. Working in the creative environment, exchanging ideas, new information with fellow students and teachers, implementing each new project, I was enriched not only with technical skills, but also developed my creativity, expanded my own perception of the world. I have come to mind that there is no right or wrong things in art and design it, is more to do with entire process behind the work, and how you use your ideas.
I have learned to think more broadly, to see the creative process in different wide aspects. I chose the course Fashion Communication because it is this program that best suits my interests, this course allows me to maximize my creativity, apply my knowledge not only in fashion, but also in communication. And it is quite natural that my final project is directly related to the theme of fashion.

Section 2: Project concept (approx. 250 words)

Historically, my country has been a part of the Soviet Union for a long time. And although Ukraine has been independent for more than 25 years, the influence of Soviet reality still has its place. In my work I wanted to show the interaction of the past and the present, the inextricability of the connection of the epochs, but at the same time, thanks to the inversion of modern society, the barriers and stereotypes are rapidly overcome, a new layer of modern aesthetics is emerging.
In the process of working, my project has undergone certain changes. Before the start of the project, I did the research, I studied the historical facts, life, fashion trends of the times of the Soviet Union, and also took into account the modern trends of the fashion industry. From the strong sides of my work I want to note the ability to work with photographic equipment, and, despite the fact that the technical equipment on which I work is primitive, I get a quality product. Also I work at a high level in most photo editors, which, undoubtedly, positively affects the final outcome of my outcomes.
Working on this project, I want to note my strengths - it's the selection of interesting locations, styling, selection of suitable models, cooperation with a make-up artist, the ability to negotiate and organize the workflow in a time-saving mode. Thus, I was able to translate the weak side into a strong one - high-quality execution of the project with minimal costs.

Section 3: Evaluation (approx. 100 words)

Looking back on my project, I would conduct additional research, develop additional design solutions, in order to improve my project. I believe that this normal state of the creative person is constantly not being completely satisfied with his work, striving to develop the idea deeper, improve something, be in constant search, and live a creative process.
If you analyze all the work done by me within the framework of this project, then if I had more opportunities, I would expand the project. First of all, I would increase the number of shooting locations at different times of the year, would involve more ordinary people (not models) in the frame, add more authentic props, and finally I would make a fashion film.

Evaluation

Working on my project, I achieved in general what I planned. I believe that I opened the whole topic in full.
Being engaged in direct preparation for the project, I faced some difficulties in choosing the location of the shooting, selection of props and clothes.

The main problems were the lack of financial resources and the lack of quality photographic equipment, which entailed the simplification of the project. A smaller number of locations were used than planned, and the lack of the intended props influenced the final outcomes. Originally a short fashion film was planned.

Nevertheless, I believe that the project has turned out.

Another of my strongest points is stress resistance. The day before the project was delivered, my laptop broke down, in which there was a completely edited and ready-to-print project, but I was able to mobilize and restore all the material overnight with minimal losses. As for the weaknesses, then perhaps I lacked creativity.
If you analyze all the work done by me within the framework of this project, then if I had more opportunities, I would expand the project. First of all, I would increase the number of shooting locations at different times of the year, would involve more ordinary people (not models) in the frame, add more authentic props, and finally I would make a fashion film.

Looking back on my project, I would conduct additional research, develop additional design solutions, in order to improve my project. I believe that this normal state of the creative person is constantly not being completely satisfied with his work, striving to develop the idea deeper, improve something, be in constant search, and live a creative process.

As for whether the time for project implementation was correctly organized and spent, then I have a very ambiguous answer. On the one hand, I constantly worked on the project, changed something, improved it somewhere, cleaned it up, tried to do the work as best I could, and was in constant search until the last moment. The desire for excellence played a cruel joke on me, I put off the printing at the last moment. The night before the final printout of the work I broke the laptop without the possibility of recovery. Through incredible efforts, I was able to restore most of the project. And I got a valuable lesson for life: never work until the last moment and always have outcomes on an alternative source.
