Todays work has changed my mind of textiles in absolutely new way, because all my life i thought that textiles is sewing, but not drawing. From this day I will use my new knowledge of how the textiles work in further work and develop the desing into new forms, e.g. Put as lay on photo or video.

Focusing on texture, shape, tone and silhouette with in the drawings helped me to create my textile design. This way, I carried out lots of different drawing techniques to help us familiarise ourselves with the objects. . I found that drawing repetitions of the same object created interesting patterns which I could then relate to when creating my textile design. Everyone took a role in the collaborative work. Some of us helped arrange the textile designs onto the projector, by looking at what textures and colours went well together, while I helped to stylise the shapes onto the body, mannequin and backdrop. This was a good experience as it allowed us to work together in order to create a final outcome.I think the biggest advantage of cooperation is the exchange, communication, whether at any time have a great effect.

Even though the whole process was very dynamic and sometimes I found it hard to catch up with the time and felt confused as it was my first experience of such activity, I was still enjoying working with the colour, shapes and materials. I believe, that next time I do it, my outcome will be much better as I will be more confident during the process.

This project made me realise that inspiration for works can be not only found in the books or outside, but we can also work out our own unique method to inspire ourselves for something new. It also made me notice the beauty of the simplest objects around us (bottles, glasses, shadows), which in the future will benefit my works.

Printing on the wall is interesting, but when a shallot appears  in the canvas everything began to be alive. It is very useful method to try in a short time as much as possible looks. I would use it in my future work.
